Of late the Tooth Scary is giving me frequent visits. She leaves me crinkling my nose and sticking my tongue where my so called "wisdom" tooth is supposed to come up.
God, how I wish I didn't have that much wisdom!
A year back or so I had my left wisdom tooth examined by my friend (the only dentist I am not terrified of) and she had cut my gums for the struggling tooth to painlessly come out (at least that's what she said) and also she chipped the top portion of the tooth so that it wouldn't press against my top gums and create a problem.
Further digging into my mouth and teeth made her exclaim, "O No!", and that was it. I could hear my heart pound, "Whaaash issh ich", I asked, the hook still in my mouth.
"Dear, your wisdom tooth has no place to come out, it's growing into your jaw bone. Things are going to get worse if you don't get it plucked".
I wished I had never heard that. I think my face went white because she added, "For now what I have done is fine. If ever it reoccurs, get it plucked".
Thank you doc! Now that's better news! The local anesthesia wouldn't let me grin. I thanked her and went home.
But now my right tooth has started tantrums, "Let me out! Let me out!", it seems to say.
I messaged my sister who had recently taken out all four of her wisdom teeth and lived to tell the brave story. "My wisdom tooth is creating problems again", I said.
She calls me "bee". She replied, "Take it out bee before it gets worse. I had all four plucked, remember?"
I had just one reply to give, "You are brave. But bee will pee. Dentists are really "dent"ists. They create dents in your mouth as well as your pockets!"
My dear tooth please be a good tooth. Don't hurt me and u can live in there peacefully. Else someone's gonna pluck you out and that's the end of your life... or rather... mine!

It was beautiful! You could make a song out of your pain...!!
o yeah? my pain, your gain??? grrrr... hehehehe...
I had room for mine, but the doctor had a need of my money, so out they came. It was a long procedure and boring, more than anything. Be brave!
I'm anything but brave in that matter Sandy! Heheheh!
Dentists are evil people. The next time, look closely. They might have red horns on their head - Sign of Evil!
I did have one tooth pulled. I don't recall which one. Though, it ended badly for Mr. Dentist. He begged my Dad to never bring me again.
BTW, this was a funny post. Hope the plucking out of teeth goes well. Thanks for stopping by my blog...:)
Going to the dentist must be brave first... so you can more enjoy the dentist's work...
but truthfully I always scare when going to the dentist...haha
very nice post!!
Thank you for the comment Nensa :) yup dentists sure are scary!

Hi Elisha!
Thank you for your visit, yup me Indian :)
Cool. I'm half Indian, even more to relate :)
Hi Seemu. You don't post very often but it's always an entertainment when you do! Dentistry is usually worse in the anticipation than it is in the execution. A crumb of comfort for you!
Thank you for your visit again Bazza :)
Thanks for the crumb of comfort :P but i rather stay away from dent makers!
